How to break up Objective object

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,
How do I cut up a custom made OBJECTiVE object?
I have a curvy object (meant to be a roof) that I want to make into 'timber' parts that follow the same curve and behave as the one object. Is this possible?

You can request support directly from Encina.

A picture would help illustrate what you are trying to do. If you wish to cut an object into pieces, you can use the Split tool (OBJECTiVE > Tools > Split. Or, if you are making beams to support a curved roof, you could use profiled beams made (or bundled) with OBJECTiVE and use the Bend tool to shape them to the roof (OBJECTiVE > Tools > Bend). It's difficult to be more specific without a clearer picture of your intentions.
