About model and data exchange with 3rd party solutions: Revit, Solibri, dRofus, Bluebeam, structural analysis solutions, and IFC, BCF and DXF/DWG-based exchange, etc.
Are there any FAST and reliable stand-alone PLT viewers?
I know that AC and good-old PM (plotmaker for those who don't remember!) can open/edit PLT but I 'm searching for an easy way to browse PLTs.
My local print bureaux has such an application which I think was supplied by Xerox as part of the package that they got with the plan printing machines. Only one drawback though - the machines cost around $40K. I don't think Xerox supply the software alone.
I have always found good old plotmaker to be very easy and reliable for this and it runs on any machine without the need for a dongle.
We have something at my work that are great at .plt files, but I don't remember what the name is and I'm not at work now. I will look as far as I could.
