dwg translator for v11 (multiple scales on 1 layout)

howdy

a little confused

if i have a layout with multiple scaled drawings on it and then want to export the drawing as a .dwg... what are the settings i need?

the components (for example) are:
- title block (sheet layout is 24" x 36")
- drawing01 (scale 1/8" = 1'-0")
- drawing02 (scale 1/2"=1'-0")
etc etc

how do i ensure that when my consultant opens the drawing in autoCAD that the sheet/layout is the correct size (24" x 36") and that when they want to edit each of the placed drawings they are actually sized/scaled correctly

i have been exporting as "model space"... or is it better for the above scenario to export as "paper space with cropped content" and then "linked xref drawings" (or would "single dxf/dwg file" work just as well)

HUGE thanks in advance for any help/ clarification

export as linked Xref drawings. i have found this to be the best export method by far. you will get one DWG (capitals intentional) that represents the layout and a folder alongside it containing several dwg files that contain the model spaces of each placed view.
