for starters, your signature says you are on AC14. There is a Library part names W Empty 14, but none called "empty window". You must have the name exact. Similar in 15.

Also, you will probably have to group your criteria with parentheses so that it logically communicated to the program what you want.
This probably means that you will have to put the AND lines between parentheses. Something like this:
(criterion 1 AND
criterion 2)
OR
(criterion 3 AND
criterion 4 AND
criterion 5)
OR
...

I don't understand Erika's response: when I click "empty opening" in the window settings box it takes me to the library part "Empty Window". If I place it in the model and select it, the name is "Empty Window". My library is up to date--am I missing something?

I don't think Erika realised you were pressing the "Empty Opening" button in the settings to change your opening to an empty opening.
There are actual library parts called "W Empty 14" or similar in each library.
These are different as far as I know.
You might want to try bracketing your criteria as Lazlo suggested because without the brackets you might be looking for a logically imposible criteria.
Try as per the attached image.
Barry.
