Hello, AC26 Mac Silicon has a bug when searching for materials.
Also, some buttons are invisible:

Romans, and all,
Yes, I responded to Rex's comment specifically.
Maybe for Emre, Rex, and others, it was obvious that you guys are talking about the macOS platform. I did not pick that up, so I was thinking of Dark Mode in general, regardless of platform, hence my comment.
My comment was not aimed at implying that this is not an important issue. However, after I forwarded the issue to Graphisoft, there is not much else I can do to influence how and when it will be dealt with.

Their solution is to keep something in perpetual beta mode to avoid addressing the issue I guess. Especially when every other major software out there has a "non-beta" dark mode option that works.
Sometimes it's the little things that say soooo much.

it's a bit of a shame really. recently having had to deal with revit, i can definitely say that archicad has such a good interface going on if it wasn't for all the inconsistencies and the bugs..

It is such a shame! Since the introduction of the Dark Mode feature and besides a lot of promises for fixes, it was not improved/fixed. It makes me angry...

Revit does NOT have Dark Mode, at least according the official Revit Roadmap.
If you go to its website, you will see that it is on their Roadmap, so it is not available in the current software (it is being worked on):

@Laszlo Nagy Wouldn't it be nice if Graphisoft had a public roadmap for ArchiCAD?
Sorry, couldn't resist. š

Yes, it would be.

Just because the competition does not offer it (yet) is an excuse not to fix this nasty annoyance?
I question this attitude......

What attitude?
Rex stated that 'every' other software has a dark mode.
Laszlo simply replied that Revit does not have a dark mode - just correcting what Rex stated.
Laszlo never said that was a reason not to fix it.
Barry.

I think Laszlo was responding more to the Revit comment that came after mine. To clarify also, when I stated "every other" I was referring to MacOS software being that I'm a Mac user.
I always appreciate Laszlo's responses since he's the only GS moderators who steps in and interacts on the more controversial posts.
