3D dimensioning and parallel lines

Hi,

So recently we started to do dimensions in 3D document. The problem occured on one, when we wanted to make a dimension line, but when we hovered above a line/edge of a slab/mesh/wall, it wouldn't get parallel to it. 

This occurs in only one file, so we assume someone pressed something, but we don't know what. How can we change that?

Also, is it possible, at all, to make dimension lines in 3D docment parallel to a line, polyline or a guide line?

It would help if you could post 1 or 2 screenshots (how you are creating the dimension, and what is the result).

Maybe someone accidentaly switched geometry method (default shortcut was "g")?
It should be the one on the right (You can find this settings in info pallete when dimension tool is active)
