SOLVED!

Archicad won't save a file as PDF

Cosmin
Contributor

Hello everyone,

The problem I'm facing is that I can't save a project as a PDF.

I'm clicking on File, Save As, choosing the folder, selecting the file type (PDF), and it will just load.

If I go to Task Manager and select Archicad, it shows that the program is not responding.

Do you know how I can fix this?

Thanks.

That should not be happening unless the PDF area is either too big or has too many elements

Use the Marquee Tool (Dashed Rectangle) to draw an area and use that to publish

Check that the blue rectangle fits within the selected paper size

You cannot "save a project" as PDF.

You can save views (or what is on screen) and you can publish to PDF.

About program not responding. Which version are you using and is it up to date?
