How do I get this line to be the original line?

All I managed to do is draft a polyline with the proper thickness on top of it, to make it look tidy.

 

As far as I know you're not doing anything wrong and Archicad is being weird.

I also think it's a bug.

 

If you don't want to draw a line, you should set it to 0.
And you will have to raise the wall up.
