I remember years ago being able to copy and paste a pen from 1 location to another including the description
You could ever create gradient from 1 point to another
Hmm...I have tried all the combos...so did anyone notice it dissappear?
How is it possible to do this without what seems pretty insane labour?
Operating system used: Windows

This can be done with the Attribute Manager... (not to be confused with Attribute...).
You should amend your Signature (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Cheers @David Maudlin (updated sig!)
Acutely aware of the attribute manager...its a good feature...
but not the point of the post
I have a number of spreadsheets that programmatically handle the organisation of various attributes en masse; hopefully the examples below might be of help to those managing large teams (which has been my job for Archicad since 1999)
Once you hook up the xml into it, so useful for many things.and makes it very easy to really get a lightning fast ui/ux and overview which is difficult trudging around the ui...but doing that manually in the dialog or AM is really painful in comparison...:(
eg
or for logical layer management at a glance
generates mnemonic tags so you simply type the first letter of each phase to drill directly, in many cases, 3 or 4 characters
mnemonic extension "(W)all (E)xternal (W)all" (but I realise now, this should just be "we/e or n)"
single click import and updates
Im specifically referring back (at least 15 years ago) to the dialog box where I distinctly remember being able to simply click and drag a colour box and it would copy them all along the path. Or click 1 colour and shift clicking to create gradients...
just wondering why they would have dropped those nice little things...thats all
Thanks
