One way you can get those lines to be bolder is to add some ridge and assign a different pen to it. For example, the Eptar tile roof objects as shown below.

Just a tip on how to use the Terran_Topridge (ridge object) -- you adjust the angle to fit the pitch of the hips with the column icon in the pop-up 2019-07-27_11-13-49.jpg
Another good way to do that is with the Morph tool. In 3D window you can put a morph line on the ridges and that way you won't have to draw a line in every view of the roof.
