DWG export floor plans comes out in grey

Hi,

We’re using the same DWG export setup (translator) across all projects, but in one project, the 2nd floor plan consistently exports in grey. In another project, it’s the 5th floor plan that exports grey. Additionally, the orientation of the exported plans seems inconsistent—sometimes they come out rotated, other times not, and there doesn’t appear to be a clear pattern. We always publish from layouts.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance,

Operating system used: Windows 10

For each View or Layout that is exported as DWG, I would check the DWG Translator set in the Publisher (I assume you are using the Publisher). Check to see if there is anything different in the DWG Translator used for the problematic item vs. the correct outputs.

Hi!

Sometimes weird effects exporting from Layouts are due to Drawings on Layout are not updated. Recently I found out, that best practice to save .dwg files from Layouts are to check all Drawings to "Automatic" update, even if there is nothing been changed for awhile. Or update them straight before exporting.

Good luck
