Dissappearing Layout Drawings

i have a layout with internal drawings and external pdfs attached.
when i update the drawings everything is fine.
as soon as i pan around the drawing , most of them go blank.

their view settings are fine, when they appear everything is in the right place, but then when i pan almost all drawings go blank, even external pdfs

From you description this sound like a display issue.
The first thing I would do is make sure that you update to the latest graphics drivers version.

i checked that and my graphics card driver was updated.
i solved it, it was a bad external reference pdf. as soon as i deleted it everything appeared again.
