How to get a hotlink module to fade into the background, so every element has a thin lineweight

I'm trying to get a hotlink module to fade into the background. The hotlink is a survey and I want all of the lines within it to be on a particular pen, kind of like a trace reference, where you can fade it i and out...

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based sequoia 15.6.1 (24G90)

you can use a graphic override to make all hotlniks (or a particular one) have the pen, line, etc. properties you wish.
