Hi,
I have created a 2D detail from sctrach, wich includes a certain window. I now would like to place a lable in the detail drawing that is associated with an actual window element, so that any changes made to the actual window would reflect in this "hyperlinked" label.
This would be very much like placing a Linked Section Marker, but for a lable.
I couldn't find this option in any of the lables.
Any thoughts?
thanks

If you have used the detail or worksheet tool to create the detail, the problem is that the elements are converted to lines and fills.
So the window object is no longer a window object, so you can't label it and get the information from the window object.
You can label the window in the plan or elevation and include annotation in the detail settings.
The label in plan or elevation can be placed in a layer that is turned off there so you can't see it but still shown in the detail.
Due to possible scale differences you may have to play around with the location of the label.
The label will update when you rebuild the detail.
Barry.
