Layouting & text blocks/notes

Arcadia

I would like to hear from others how they manage and organize blocks of text into their final layouting. I have a number of different standard blocks of notes that I use for various layot sheets - ie notes for the floor plan page, notes for the electrical plan etc. Presently I have all these in my template on an independent detail sheet. I drag the 'notes' drawing onto the layout and resize it so that only the particular notes I want are showing. This saves having a lot of extra detail sheets but means a lot of resizing and going back to resize the drawing if the notes block changes in size etc. Is there a better way of doing notes that I don't know about? Should I just have these notes entered directly onto the layout sheet and just edit them right in the layout as needed?
