I have merged a lot of fills with the Fill Consolidation option. I checked Trim Overlapping Fills & Merge Fills regardless of shape. Most of the fills merged however there are still some that won't merge together. Any ideas on why this might be the case? I tried selecting just 2 of the ones that wouldn't merge together and doing the Fill Consolidation option again and it still didn't work....
Thanks,
Naomi

I just did the eye dropper and they are both definitely fills not cover fills on a slab and they still won't merge.
They were the Fills copied from Shadows....
Cheers,

I can imagine such a case can occur with Shadows copy-pasted from the 3D Viewpoint or Sections/Elevations.

I know this response is extremely untimely, but I was just having the same issue. I ended up checking "Trim Overlapping Fills" as well as "Merge Identical adjoining Fills" and that did the trick. Not sure why, but my Fills were successfully Consolidated!
