Missing elements in Master Layout

Why are some elements missing when the drawing is placed in the master layout?

That looks more like a View issue than a Master Layout issue.

 

The Layer Combination shown in your top screenshot of your floorplan has a Custom layer combination so I would assume that it does not match between your floor plan and your layout. Ideally you will be using a NAMED Layer Combination. If you right click on the View that you have placed on your Master Layout you can "Open Source View".

ps. Note that anything placed on your Master Layout will appear on every layout that uses that as a base, so you would generally not place drawings on it.
