Output scale autotext issue

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a problem with my autotext feature not working in PlotMaker, I've had this problem before and just did a work around by manually writing in the scale on the layout. This is really not acceptable in this instance though, as the scale changes between sheets, and I don't have time to do it manually (nor do I want to, since I shouldn;t have to) It's probably something simple I'm overlooking, or possibly not undesratnading... but any help would be appreciated

cheers,
dan

Try <DrawingScale> instead.

Actually, I get the same thing.. this is weird..

also, the scale is set to 3/16" = 1'-0" in the viewsets....

Only one or more drawings per sheet?

If more, set the titleblock scale to As shown @ sheet size, and use the drawing titles with DrawingScale (or, safer and always correct) OutputScale - per drawing.

when I put both scale to output scale, and scale to drawing scale. They both say the same thing even though I print to 1/2 size sheets. Is this a plot only issue, or can we print ledger size paper at 1/2 scale, and have the scale be accurate. Am I missing some setting on the Title block?

Thanks

If I do this the scale does come out correctly, but I don't understand why it should make a difference, why can a drawing title, which is presumably pulling the output scale using the same function call as the auto text <OUTPUTSCALE> feature, come out with a different result... it just doesn't make sense to me. Also, even though this does result in printing the right scale, my bosses are picky about using their title block
