Plan views with different orientation (rotation)

HBSS

I need to create a site plan with a view rotation of zero. However, the floor plans are all rotated and need to stay that way.

But I can't rotate the site plan alone, when I change the rotation (orientation) in a plan view, all plan views seem to only be able to display one rotation. If I change one, all change.

How are you supposed to do it?

The rotation of whatever view you are trying to achieve can be saved to the view just like any layer set, pen set, or scale.  You do need to make sure the "Ignore zoom and rotation when opening this view" is not checked when you save the view settings as well.

and to rotate a previous saved view:

  • Open Saved View
  • Rotate
  • Select "Current Zoom" in the Settings
