SOLVED!

Roof fill not correct on PDF. Fill becomes solid.

Hi!
I´m having a problem with the roof fills in the PDF. The fill is with lines but becomes solid when I publish the PDF.
This happens on the view too. When zoom out it shows solid but when I zoom in it looks ok.

My assumption is that you maybe encountered the bug mentioned here:
https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Documentation/Roof-angle-changing-hatch-output/td-p/70485/page/2

I have tried to replicate the experiment but in my case it works fine.. If you were to change the roof pitch? The issue persists?

Solution

I had a look and that Topic and help solve the problem.

So, the problem happens on roofs with low pitch, like 5º, and the surface fill of the roof is set to "Scale with plan". If the fill is set as "Scale independent" it works fine.

@CosminF  Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Have you tried saving pdf with hairline? If the issue vanishes maybe its a pen thickness issue.

Hi @CosminF!

No, it doesn't solve the problem.

Is the fill also with lines in your layout/ view?
Maybe you have a GO active somewhere prior to exporting.

So , this has to do with roof fill. If I use a normal fill to cover the roof fill the problem doesn't happen.

I corrected the title and the first post to reflect this.
