Hi everyone,
I'm a bit rusty with Archicad, and I'm encountering an issue that I hope has a simple fix.
Saved View Not Showing on Layout:
Ground Floor View Problem:
Has anyone encountered these issues before, and could you suggest what might be going wrong? Any tips or steps to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

What happens if you change the Crop to Frame setting to Fit? Does the View display properly when you open it?

Absolutely nothing and every time I do ArchiCAD crashes and I send a bug report!

So, I decided to recover the file, which I hadn’t done previously, and to my surprise, an empty box appeared where the saved view should have been. This was obviously what I needed! I expanded the edges of the box and brought the view back to the center, and that turned out to be the fix. I initially thought the crashes meant the file wasn’t working or responding, but I was just too quick to give up and worried about messing it up further. So thankyou 🙂

If you set the View to use the Internal Origin, the View will not move if you add something that changes it's extents.

I have just encountered this exact issue except when I recover the file it turns the View into a fixed .dwg and as soon as I move it in any way it disappears again. I have the same 0 x 0mm showing on the Layout for the placed View but if I look at the bottom left corner of the Layout view, in the Properties section I see "0E + 79 / 0E + 79 ".
I've tried Fit Frame to Drawing and the file immediately crashes and when I recover it I go right back to the start of the issue as I have explained above.

Turns the View into a fixed .dwg? If you open the View, can you see what ever you are wanting? I am guessing that you have some entity that is very far away from everything else within your View. Ideally, everything is relatively close to your Project Origin.
