Section Settings - Cut Fill override not working

Hi,

I have set my section Cut Fill settings to - Own Settings, as I want to show new walls as a different colour. I then go to change each existing Wall & Slab to plain White - by going into the Setting of each Wall etc - Going to Settings - Override Cut fill - Both and putting in White and nothing changes? it stays the same as the settings in the Section Settings?

Any help would be great
