Trimming Bodies - Settings

This is likely a simple question.
How do I make trimming bodies translucent?
They appear solid red in my 3D windows.
I checked Model View Options and Preferences and the web and am unable to make them translucent.

• Right Click on an empty space in the 3D Window
• Select "3D Window Settings"
• Activate "Transparency"
