Re: Trimming roofs

I have a shed dormer that is on top of the main roof. I can't figure out how to trim the main roof so that it doesn't show up in the section. Please see attached images. Thanks

In plan, select the large roof, then Subtract the relevant area from it?

I would model this the way it will be built: cut a hole in the main roof to the exterior faces of the shed dormer walls.
