SOLVED!

Where have my windows and doors gone?

I started drawing a renovation plan -- windows and doors were in the "existing" filter. They were still there in the "demolish" filter. I added new ones to the "new" filter. Then magically, they all disappeared. Any clues as to where they have gone? They show up on the door schedule, just not on the drawing.

I think there is a confusion between the Renovation Status of the elements and the Renovation Filter.

Check the Renovation Filter Option (menu Document/Renovation )

There you can see what type of status is visible in what filter.

If you haven't modified the dafault Renovation Filter "00 Show All", if it's active you should see all objects in the active view regardless of their status.

Thanks everyone, I think I found the problem. I accidentally built the walls on Storey 0 then "saved current view" from there, so it was never going to work. What a difference it makes to build the walls on the correct Storey ha ha. ~Anita
