door dimension marker incorrect dims

could someone please explain why my door dimension marker is not showing the correct dimensions. i have set the door nominal sizes to unit size and the size is correct, i have set the dimension marker content to show unit dimensions, but the dimension marker is subtracting ½" to the height. see pics

ok, so the ½" difference seems to be a rounding issue. if my unit is set to 7'-1" it shows the same, if i change the unit to 7'-1 ½" it shows 7'-2" if i change the unit size to 7'-2" it shows 7'-2". is there some specific dimensioning resolution that the door / window tool can be set to separately from the dimension in project prefs?

You set the Tolerance to 1/2" so the door dimensions are reduced by 1/2"

ok, but i don't see where to change that.

What is your cotation set set to ?

Nope, that's not it. i have it set to ⅛". i tried to set it to None like you have, but it didn't make a difference.

is there another place that these tolerances could be changed?

I see a discrepancy here in the values the Door Settings Dialog displays.

In your screenshot, the Unit Size Height is 7'-1 1/2" in the "Nominal Sizes and Tolerance" page, but in the "Content - Dimensions" page, the preview field for Opening Height dimension says 7'-1'.

In the case of the former, it is calculated by subtracting the Upper Tolerance value from the  Rough Opening Height, which is correct, I think.

In the case of the latter, it seems to subtract the Upper Tolerance value from the  Rough Opening Height twice, hence the 7'-1" value, which I believe is incorrect.

This may be a bug in the GDL script, so I will forward this to GS HQ for investigation. I tried this with the "D Marker 26" library part and that gives consistent values for the two fields so it may be a US-specific library part issue.
