License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. for the life of me, I cannot use the wall end tool

i just want to cap the end of a simple drywall partition [3.5" stud + 1/2" drywall both sides]

what is the correct way to use this tool?

the cursor doesn't seem to react to the end of the wall at all

You need to click exactly on the outside corners or the end of the base / reference line for the wall end to work.

You cannot add a wall end to a wall on a locked layer.

I know this doesn't apply in your case, but for the benefit of others, you cannot add a wall end to a COMPLEX profile.

Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)

To add to this, I want to shape the wall as its bottom edge wants to follow the bottom edge of the stair as it rises. Hopefully, SEO operation doesn't affect the wall end cap condition...

i see the vid now, thank you for posting

i'm not able to replicate that

i have tried on several walls placed out into space to isolate them. i've messed with the settings.

it's as if there's a persistent setting that is preventing this operation

Have you been able to do a wall lock before? Try my option exclusively, there are a minimum of parameters.

I ended up writing a wall covering for a framing sheet rock sheeting and baseboard so that I don't have to fight those I have more freedom with my models and so I can wrap wall ends lol

Posts also work well other than not being linked to the wall for wall ends

No idea what a wall lock is
