Can anyone help how to find "design options", in archicad 29? It's not in the menü, and not there in work environment settings?

New commands are OFF by default when importing old Work Environments. Who ever thought that was a good idea... Search "all commands in alphabetical order" and add it manually if you really must load your old Command Layout Scheme.

Have you imported a custom work environment preset created in an older version of ArchiCAD? Try opening a new clean file with factory default settings.

In my Archicad, Design option palette is in menu bar: Window > Palettes > Design Options

To add the command from your work environment, make sure you are looking at "All commands in alphabetical order" otherwise you will only see command that are already used in your WE.

I would like to add to this topic

since work environment is made of smaller parts, you export only the .xml file for the last section where menus and toolbars are.
you need your version from older Archicad file and version from default WE of new version.

Then you can upload it to (any) AI and add "menus" part to your older version scheme and keep toolbars settings. 😎
