When I open archicad 28 it asks me for the serial number. Can't I use it if I have an educational license? my edu license still active until january 25.

AC 28 has not been released yet so your EDU license wont work.

Hi, as i said before, im using EDU license and now I ve been granted with a Archicad 28 Tech Preview license. but when i open archicad, it tells me i need a serial number to enter. what do i have to do?

EDU registration does not work with Tech Preview, you need to wait for final release.

If you want to use the Tech Preview you will either need to subscribe or buy the Commercial Version.

Hi @Fabiosantos1971,

If you like to try Archicad 28 TP, it requires a cloud license which can be granted via simple steps illustrated in this video.

AC 27 INT 5060/WIN 11
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz 16.0 GB

I thought it would be the same way as it was with AC27, which I was able to use. and then it seemed to me that I had been released.

especially after i saw this in my profile.

im a bit confused, sorry, cause i see a cloud license assigned to me.

If you got a cloud license then logout of your GSID and log back in after launching AC28 Tech Preview to force it to see it.

Looks like I am wrong on the EDU limitation.

Since I could use AC27 EDU TP, I thought I could use AC28 EDU TP too. Sorry, but i need to ask, doesn't it seem to you that I have a cloud license? I say, looking at the image i have uploaded it seems to me that GS gave me a license. In addition to being an Archicad enthusiast, I would like to use the new features right away.
To be clear, I logged out as recommended and next it keeps asking for a password. so then I tried a new project and tried to open and existing project, but the answer is the same. sorry to insist, but if u have some advice i would appreciate it. kind regards.

Didn't find the answer?
