Have you tried opening the file on a different computer?

Try a marquee for just a small portion of you model and view that in 3D - rather than the whole model.
Try marquees in different areas.
Also turn of all but a few layers, gradually turning the layers back on to see if that helps find what the problem may be.

What I found is that a floor bim object (carpet) done with interior wizard using the zone tool and with several(seems to many contour points) was producing the problem.

When erased, the 3D model loaded normally, what is weird is that before the error, the 3D model loaded with that element.

I don't think it is such a complex element to have that problem. See the attached image.

It probably doesn't like those curves.

It doesn't look overly complicated but it only takes one invalid where the boundary somehow loops over itself.
You can't always see the problem but if I had to guess I would be looking here (just a guess though).

You can try splitting the slab up into smaller portions to see where the problem may be.
Work on a copy so it doesn't matter if you destroy it while tracking down the problem.

Or sometimes it is just easy to delete and re-create the element.
