hi! I download the goodies add-on that should include the 3ds files. It is checked that it is included however it does not show anywhere in menu, not even under search or Design Extra that some people found it... (yeah, just put it anywhere :D)

@cocoloco

You have the '3D Studio out' add-on loaded but not the '3D Studio in' add-on.

The 'out' has no menus, it is simply 'Save As' from the 3D windows and change the file type to '.3DS'

If you have loaded the goodies and they are not showing then you have come across a bug in 26 where they do not load properly.

To fix this you need to re-install Archicad 26 again.

You don't need to un-install first.

So, run the 26 installer - if it offers a 'repair' option, accept that.

DO NOT start Archicad yet.

Install the Goodies.

Install the latest 26 update.

Now you can start Archicad.

Go to Work Environment and enable the addon to be shown in menus.

edit: I see what you mean but the point is I can’t find it anywhere…. So how I suppose to show it in menu? I did search 3Ds and nothing in menus to show

Your screenshot of the add-ons shows the 3DConnexion addon.  Select the 3DS add-on and read at the bottom of that dialog where AC thinks the interface got installed.  If not in an existing menu, then as Botonis said, you have to go to the menus in your Work Environment to add it to a menu.  In the WE, display the menus alphabetically to find it.

I am looking for 3D Studio per this photo .  I see 3D connexion but it is grayed out (only show camera mode and object mode option but not usable).

I looked in the work environment - I searched the keywords but nothing except the 3D connexion which does not look like what I am looking for?:D

You didn't read my post.  Here is YOUR screenshot:

I've added the red highlights.  You have "3Dconnexion Enabler" highlighted at the top (whether intended or not) ... and so in the middle, circled in red, it tells you were in the menu structure THAT add-on can be found.

You need to click on "3DStudio Out" in the top part ... in order to read in the bottom part WHERE the add-on can be accessed.  Please post a screenshot of THAT. 🙂

For 27 Mac ARM, this is what I see in Add-On Manager... I'm not sure why you do not see the 3D Studio In add-on as well as the Out add-on which does show on your Mac...

Here is where you will find the commands in the Work Environment dialogs.  In my screenshot, the commands are in italics because they already exist in my menu structure.  If yours are not in italics, then select the menu on the right that you want the commands to appear in and drag them from left to right.
