8.1-R2 USA Uprade - It Changed Dual Monitor Setup!

Installed upgrade from 8.1-R1 USA to 8.1-R2 USA. No other settings were changed, but now am having problems with launching AC and PM. It starts on my secondary monitor, and I cannot drag the main program window, plan window, and 3-D window into my primary monitor. Tool windows and pallets drag ok; just not these main program windows. Checked monitor display settings; doesn't look like any changes. (Also AC 8.0 and PM 3.0 still open up on primary monitor with no problems - as do all my other programs.) Any ideas?

Thanks, ELL

No problems for me. Is your main AC window maximized by any chance? If so, you can't drag it. Change it from maximized to sizeable, drag to the other monitor and then maximize again if that is the problem. ... ???

That was the trick Karl! Sometimes the most obvious escapes my mind!

Well, I wouldn't have guessed if I hadn't been there once myself. 😉

Glad that was it and not something more serious.

Cheers,

Or, to quote Dwight:

"Guess how I know that"
