Using AC 8.1 doors or windows has been very frustrating. When adjusting them, stretching, changing parameters in plan, I find them disappearing on screen even in plan after rebuilding or refreshing the screen. Yet they show up in 3D just fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks Dave for confirming this. If you are experiencing the same problem, I would encourage you to let Tech Support know about it. When I talked to them about it today, they indicated that had not seen this before.
