AC13 crashes down when changing pen colour of a pen set

As you could read in the topic's title, my ArchiCAD 13 EDU Version crashes down (and the Bug reporter appears) when I try to change a colour of a pen in an existing pen set.
I would like to have a B&W preview of my drawing so that I can print it easily in good quality. So I need to create a pen set with only black pens, right?
well... it does not work... just crashes! is that a bug? can I do it in another way?
waiting for help!

Thanks,

Hugo

Hugo:

I just check the "Black and White" option when printing (plotting also has this option).

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

The problem with choosing "Black and White" at print time is that you eliminate the possibility of printing any grays or colors at all.

ArchiCAD should not be crashing when you try to change a pen color. I have never heard the likes of this before so it is probably something peculiar to your situation. As David says, you need to provide more information to have much hope of a useful response.

Probably not a hardware issue. Have you tried reinstalling ArchiCAD?

My coworker (AC13, new iMac w/ Snow Leopard) is having the same problem. I think the crash occurs when he OKs the color picker.

Geoff, you are right.
There is a recent article on wiki about this bug and how to solve it.
