ArchiCAD 28.3.0 & MacOS Tahoe

Does anyone have any issues to report? If CineRender crashing is the only issue, I'd like to upgrade.

Yes, I know the caveats, but would like to know what others may have experienced. Thanks!

I’ve upgraded to Tahoe to test before rolling out across the office. Other than the Cinerender you've already mentioned I haven’t noticed anything. I’ve only been using it for a couple of days though.

Updated last week. I haven't noticed anything either from AC27.

Minor issue that still remains from before the update is that after leaving multiple AC instances open for the day (working in all of them), sometimes the command tab does not switch between instances, but that is more of an OS issue, as it is the same with other applications. I have to click on the dock icon to switch between apps.

Cheers,

Karl Barker.

I am encountering a but that seems to have coincided with my upgrade to Tahoe (now 26.1). Periodically a menu gets stuck and leaves its background open and obscuring the Archicad window behind it. I have experienced this in AC28 and 29 and have not found a fix other than quitting Archicad. No other applications seem to be affected.

This is happening to me as well on Sequoia, so it may not be related to Tahoe.

Hi @vlahtinen, thanks for letting me know. I don’t recall it happening before I switched to Tahoe, but surely it could be something else. And while I’m sorry it’s happening to you too, I’m also glad it’s not just me. Time to report this to tech support. Hope you will too.

I don't understand Graphisoft too....

on EVERY macOS update, big problems with ArchiCAD.... on every last ArchiCAD version....

So we're waiting ca. 6 months for updates.....

It looks like the blank menu is from the ā€˜Links’ menu item which is non-standard? Could this be an add-on issue? I’m using both sequoia and Tahoe with 28 and 29 and haven’t had this happen at all but I only have all standard menus.

Have you figured out the steps to reproduce this bug? That would probably make the local support take the report more seriously.
