Does anyone lock when using CRTL X, C, or V????

Archicad has been doing this quite a bit here lately. It's happening on my work PC and also on my on personal PC at home. Every time this happens it forces me to end task, but when I reboot it works fine. This may happen 2 to 3 times a day.

I was told that office 2003 updates would fix this, but it still occurs almost daily. And believe me I go to window and office updates daily to help protect me against those dumb***** that sit around and script viruses.
Thanks,

This happens to me occasionally on one of my PCs at home.

Very frustrating...especially when its just a small text string you want to copy! Are you running XP Home vs XP Pro? How much RAM?

IMHO it is a lack memory.

Both machines are XP Pro and only have 512 . But thanks for pointing that out because it can get very irritating at times. Maybe now I can convince my (soon to be wife) that I need more memory

This is a Microsoft Windows Clipboard problem AFAIK. Alex Schamenek gave us a workaround quite some time ago: just open up Word or Excel ... some other large MS app, and the clipboard "wedge" is cleared - ArchiCAD wakes up again!

I have no idea if this is a Graphisoft or a Microsoft problem...but since no other programs do this for me, I have to assume that it is a GS issue.

We at Graphisoft investigated this issue and believe that it is not an ArchiCAD bug. I experience the same sometimes in Outlook, Word and Windows Explorer. My workaround is to open or close a folder and the problem is gone.

This could be some thing for ArchiGuide? I think it's some thing that we should let all of our users know, even if it's not an AC problem.

Cheers.
