Launching AC with custom work environment through command line?

Hello all,

I've seen it's possible to force AC to launch through commercial or EDU license, using command line codes.

Is it possible to force AC to use a different work environment through this process?

More generally, does someone know what are the possible command accessed by the command line in launching the software?

Thank you!

There is no official list that I'm aware of.

And since there is none published it seems that it is also not really wanted (?).

In your case tho you can try the -useprofile= flag.

Hi @pones

As seen on the Archicad 29 Help: Comman Line Parameters (Custom Install)

You can install predefined company standard defaults for:

  • Work Environment,
  • Archicad Template, and/or
  • DXF-DWG Translators

In te command line, type the executable file name followed by: --customEnvironment

followed by the path of the Defaults folder containing your preferred files.

For info on how to set up the Defaults folder, see Customized Company Defaults for Unattended Installation.
