License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Upgrade site does not recognise (correct) WIBU driver

I'm trying to upgrade my WIBU dongle to AC15. Unfortunately the GS upgrade site stubbornly insists on telling me that I need to upgrade the WIBU driver - which i have done numerous times now...but the site does not recognise this.

I have followed the instructions given on ArchiCADWiki, the GS website, and the WIBU site, all with restarts etc. but to no avail.

My perception is that it is a Java problem - at which stage it is too 'techie' for me. Can anyone advise please?

When you say you have updated it numerous times - are you downloading the correct driver (i.e. WIBUkey or Codemeter) from this page, then running it? -

http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/WIBU.html

It also mentions in the big yellow box on that page that you need to quit the browser before installing the driver. (I have no idea why!)

It might also be worth restarting your machine, perhaps?

Hope you get it sorted!

I have had trouble in the past and from memory have just "closed" the error dialogue and then pressed the re-scan ports button.

Hi Peter & Barry, & thanks for your input.

I have repeatedly tried uninstalling the driver, restarting the MBP, installing the driver (with no other user application running - not even anti virus), restarting the MBP: This for both the driver from the GS site and the driver from the WIBU site.

Every time, the GS upgrade site tells me that I need to install the latest driver, even though system profile, the WIBU Key Server Web Monitor, and the WIBU monitor widget all confirm that I have the correct driver installed (driver 6.00a 03 Dec 2009 for the green WIBU key).

Why will the GS update site not recognise the driver? Hmmmm......

Having already lost a day to this problem, its becoming expensive !

...still trying....

Having tried the process on Safari, Firefox, & Chrome, I'm still getting nowhere.

Can anyone shed some light on the error message I get every time, please?

I had same issue and same errors. I found out that it's Java's problem with certifications.
So what i did? I installed wibu driver from GS site on another random windows xp machine, restarted it and upgraded it there.
