WIBU Key EMERGENCY

Today I have been getting the following error messages while trying to run AC11 on my MacBookPro.

a) While the AC11 is in use the attached error message will pop up which will leave me no choice but to quit and restart AC11. Then this message will pop up again after a few minutes. OR

b) Soon after I restart AC11 another message will pop up (not attached) saying Protection Key not found and leaving me the option to Quit or Run Demo.

This happens even after I restart my computer. I even tried plugging in the WIBU key into the other two USB ports. This key by the way is an old one I have been using since AC9. As far as I know I have the latest version of AC11.

how about now? does the program run again? because my friend is facing the same problem.

if you've solved it, please post the solution for further reference.

The problem was not solved with the software update. I ended up having to replace the WIBU key. It was at least couple of years old. It took few days for the new key to arrive because there was some sort of mix up at the Graphisoft office.

If you carry it around, it will not last too long. If you do, carry it around in a hard box, dust and lint free.

i am also facing the same problem, my friend reinstall all the drivers and the AC, but the problem are still there.

Then, i try his AC 10 and keyplug in my machine , the problem is still there.

I am sure that it is the hardware problem is his keyplug.

and I am going to give it back to our reseller.

hope they will give me back in a few days soon.
