external lcd monitor w/ g4 powerbook question

is anyone running the 24" dell (or other) non mac monitors w/ a g4 powerbook?
does it run at full 1920x1200 resolution?
via dvi directly not w/ the vga to dvi adaptor?
i am in the market for a 22" to 24" external display and have been seriously looking at the samsung 224t & lg l226t models and possibly the dell 2407 wfp.

I ran the 23" Apple monitor (same res as the Dell) from my old PBG4 with no problems (aside from the expensive ADC adapter ). With the DVI connection you should have no problem and no need for an adapter.

I ran the Dell with the G4 Powerbook w/ no problems. However, which generation is yours? Mine is a 1.25 ghz Al book.

brad i have slightly different specs than yours:
1.5 ghz, 1.5 gb ram and a ati 9700 128 mb video card.
i have now decided on a 23"-24" lcd, lg l246wp, samsung 244t & dell 2407 wfp. i had read some mixed reviews about the dell, but then one can find mixed reviews on about any computer hardware, even the cinema displays.
sounds like you work in the roaring fork valley somewhere, beautiful day up there?

decided on the 23" cinema display. it is quite a monitor!
have been working on my new customised we. i have done a variety of searches regarding we setups, not having a lot of success.this one i foung in the gdl repository, not via search though: http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/object_depository.php?
