mac screen flicker/blinking

John Weaver
Participant
This has been covered on older versions of software and seen fixes mostly for windows, but, after upgrading my iMac 27" 3.2 ghz core i5 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M 1024 MB graphics card to Yosemite and using AC v18, my screen will start to flicker or blink when I am doing simple tasks like zooming in or even moving elements. Anyone know how to fix this

Do you mean using the Firefox browser?

I don't have Firefox and everything except AC, mail, reminders and calendar had been "quit" when I was getting the bad flickering mentioned in my post above.
Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)

So if not Firefox (as a browser) but any other application running a Flash content?

We no longer experience any flickering since updating to Mac OS 10.10.3. No users are running Firefox, btw.

I didn't have any problems until a new iMac running 10.10.4 and AC19, out of the blue, on Safari, started flickering the screen.
I had to save all my work before restarting and until now everything seems to be Okay. (10/21/2015)
I had to shut down tree times and press 4 keys to start:
option-command-p-r
(to reset my compu)

Sorry, false alarm. My iMac is flickering again. And Safari wasn't running.
Too bad. (10/26/2015)
