selecting accross multiple stories

is it possible to continue a selection up or down a story?
for example: if you want to render only a small section of your model to save time, can u select what u want on one storey, then go up a level, and select some more of what you want?

No mate, you'll need to specify it at Image>Elements to Show in 3D...

You can use the marquee with this method.

unfortunately, that still only works for the elements in one storey, even tho you can choose to show all stories??

You can place a marquee and then choose your stories (eg: From Story 2 to 4).

Isn't that what you want to do?

Play around with it!

i understand that this is what it sez u can do, but it only ever works for the storey you are active in for the marquee. the storeys above and below, that are supossedly marqueed too, never show up!

Are you using the "thick" marquee or the "thin" one? Check your Info Box if you are not sure.

If you override it to Story x to X, it doesn't matter what type of marquess you have!
