can anybody tell me just what i did to make all of this text appear in my floor plan?!

(it turns out it's a huge, huge text block that runs for about 10km (to scale!), but why?)

Wow! That's impressive.

Looks like you've accidentally copied, and then pasted that text from somewhere, but how you do that without looking i don't know.

Have you somehow picked the text up from another application somewhere?

nope. if you look closely it's all system frameworks and packages that are used by archiCAD. somehow it's listed them all, placed them into a centrally-justified text box and slapped it on the screen . . .

hmm.

Ben,

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Just to keep you reminded of all the many bits it takes to keep ArchiCAD running Besides it looks kinda cool.

Seriously though, I would imagine it is some kind of programmer's screen dump that went off by accident.

I trust that the fix is to just select and delete the text. Does it keep recurring?

Do you think it might have to do with any sumbarine adventures you've been undertaking lately?

yep - just don't ever double click it by accident . . . takes a lonnnnnng time to load into the text-editor! and no - it doesn't recur.

huh? it's friday and i'm very tired . . . you might have to explain that one! [edit]oh. gotcha. no, i don't think so . . . actually, i think it had more to do with vigourously cleaning my keyboard after i smashed a glass. but i didn't notice it until a bit later. god only knows what combination i 'pressed' [/edit]

i trust the junk mail died away? mine has.

cheers!

Yep. After the brief flurry I'm back to just a steady drizzle of misspelled pharmaceuticals, watches and software. I'm not sure why the identical text keeps getting by the junk filter though.

i have a sneaking suspicion if that were the case it would be far more severe . . .

I can't believe that's only wtf2... thought you'd have more by now.
