2-D Image in 3-D Model

Anonymous
Not applicable
i was wondering if there is a way to import an image (bmp tiff jpg etc.) into the model so you could move around it as a flat plane in model space. i've tried adding different file types to my library but can't get to any of them when i try to place the object.

thanks

Visible only if OpenGL is on or in rendering. The bitmaps imported with PICTURE are AFAIK not in internal 3d shaded view visible.

I think you would like something like what happens when you import a bitmap into SketchUp?
