Creating a Simple star is that hard?

Hello, I must ask for help, because I'm about to give up using
the stair tool.
The stair I'm trying to make looks very simple, but could not do it.

Can somebody give the right settings?
I'm using the Single Winder U-Return type.

welcome on board!
there are so many topics about the limitations of this old tool.
don't expect too much, use slabs and patch your sections / elevations, you'll save hours

But that stair seems so simple, even the type and the settings to format the stair are there.

developers often think that the best marketing is to add more sophisticated tools and never fix the simplest.
btw, as you show it, your stair is not really buildable but even if you ameliorate it, stairNOTmaker will not create this kind of half step, period

I guess you are right. That is weird for a powerful program like AC.
Anyway, thanks to the large expert community of AC I found a pretty
simple and nice tool from Bruno Somaschini ( Simple stair) I even liked the name.
Simple and efficient. (in Italian but self explanatory.)
