Why is it doing this? The wall is a Complex Profile reference point is where it is supposed to be. Looks good in Complex Profile editor.

What's the exact name of the library part for the door? (Moving this post to the library forum since this is a part issue, not a general AC issue.)

Section is a 3D view; plan could be symbolic or projected... will help to track the bug to see which is which and what the part is.

Was the door placed fresh from the library and then adjusted, or is it from a Favorite (and if a Favorite, is it a migrated Favorite?), or was it by using parameter transfer from another door? Etc.

Check the location of the opening reference lines in the wall complex profile.
This will affect the position of the window in the wall in 3D (not in plan though).

There is a bug that affects the position of the plan view (when symbolic) in relation to the 3D position depending on the profile of the complex profile wall.
If it has jutting surfaces, the 2D symbolic display of the window does not necessarily match the actual 3D position of the window.
Change the window to 'Projected with Overhead' and you will probably see it is in the wrong position in plan as well.

I am sure there are others and I have reported it as a problem.

The solution in this case was to select the Header to Wall base setting as opposed to Sill to Wall base. Door part was D1 24 . Switching to Header to Wall base setting fixes other anomalies that also occur for every other kind of door I have used in a Complex Profile wall.
