How do I control how a door is assigned to which zone?

There is a zone on both sides of my doors. The door schedule reads one of the zones, but it does not seem to be the zone that has the door tag location or the door swing direction, and yet sometimes it is. I have not been able to figure out how to control it. What does?

It's in the door's settings:

Thanks, but what does that mean? "The zone to which the door opens" is checked, but the direction of the swing is not it. Some doors don't have a swing and the swing direction is not the determining factor. How can a door be changed to be connected to the zone I want?

Does toggling that setting off change the schedule?

I have tried inserting doors with the sunshine symbol on either side of the wall and the swing on either side of the wall, AND with the option checked and unchecked. No control yet.

You could add a field to your schedule:
"W/D To Zone" (or "W/D from Zone").
Then I think it recognizes the description tic box
and would list that zone.

I tried the to and from zones, without success. What is in the door object that lets Archicad know what is "to" or "from" a zone/room?

Do you have multiple overlapping zones? (maybe in layers that are turned off).
Overlapping zones may confuse things I think.

I did a little test (with door 24) and it seems the 'Related zone' is not affected by the 'Door belongs to the zone into which it opens' parameter.
The related zone seems to be the one that the door swings into.

The 'From Room' & 'To Room' fields are affected by the 'Door belongs to...' parameter.
But it seems to me they are back to front.
I my example with that parameter 'ON', door 001 says it is from zone 01.
That door opens into zone 02, so I would have thought it should be from zone 02 - the zone into which it opens.

I don't think I would be relying on the from/to room fields.
It seems to me that the related zone is more reliable - but maybe further testing is needed.
