Sounds a bit like library-chaos.😉 Have you merged the SCREEN-library to your project? -> Library manager.

Have you extracted the PLA into a folder?
Maybe it needs to write something (text I/O) into a file, which is not found , when you reload?
Is the object proofed for your AC version? What says the reseller of the object?
Does it work with a plain project (new and rebuilt) without any other library? (Duplicate file names)
Just some thoughts about it.

Right-click on the object in the explorer -> information. Then on tab info/version: 17 is ArchiCAD 7, 20 is ArchiCAD 8.x, 21 is ArchiCAD 9.

If you can look inside the scripts, have a look for (find) GLOB_MODPAR_NAME and NAME_OF_PROGRAM. There have been bugs in AC with this statements. The last one was used to check on which platform the object is running. Maybe this does not work correct. A blind guess.

Is there no contact eMail adress directly to the author?

#15 is ArchiCAD 6.0. Puh.
Maybe you can open the object in AC 8.1 and save it renamed an with a fitting subtype as 8.1 object.
