Hi guys
Since at least Archicad 22 (see https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Libraries-objects/Issue-with-louvre-surface-in-quot-Sliding-Fold... that I cannot reply to) there is no parameter setting for the Folding doors Louver panels.
These doors can be used for purposed other than wardrobes and cupboards, and can be made out of aluminium... and even if they are made of wood, there is a lot of wood around 🙂
Can you please check the macro for the update? Don't really have the time, or feel like, diving into the GDL...
Thanks! 🙂

Hi @Djordje
You could create a custom door leaf.
Regards.

Except for the fact that you are stuck with what ever you saved your custom leaf with...

I guess creating a custom door leaf could be at least a possible way to solve that problem at this moment without GDL editing.
Any better idea you can share @Lingwisyer ?

Yes, that is what I have had to do for years... since it exists 😄
However, that is a workaround, that solves only the look. Does not remove the issue with the folding door object.

Thanks, I know...
... but the point is, THE FOLDING DOOR OBJECT NEEDS TO BE UPDATED.

I was chatting to one of the UK Graphisoft support team a few weeks ago, and we had a long chat about Library objects. The QA process for these things is insane.
Even little changes can take several months to implement.
We all know quality is important, but let's get things into perspective - we are not building Space Shuttles. When bureaucracy gets in the way of meaningful progress, there's a strong chance you have too much bureaucracy.
Just saying...

Months? You mean years, and a version upgrade or two...
