Can an objects layer be predefined w/in GDL. My guess is no, but I wanted to ask just to make sure.

Yes this would make a nice wish in my opinion. Reason being for BOM we have several parts that require being on the same layer every time they are used. Which I guess would be the same for almost everyone out there?!?

If you REALLY wanted it, you could probably create a custom add-on using the API kit, but it would be nice to get that straight from GDL.
